Spinning Top

A child had a beautiful spinning top. The body of the top was carved with magnificent colorful designs.

Whenever the child spun this top with his fingers, no design and colors were visible on its structure. It was as if the speedy movement of the spinning top had hidden its own self from itself.

However, when this top came out of its speedy movement and slowed down, its designs and colors appeared once again.

Hint:

When people intensively participate in this life’s material struggles, their own beauty is hidden from them. Those who persist in that practice will likely lose the opportunity to develop their souls, which is this life’s ultimate purpose.
